For Pros > Launch Strategy

It seems Time for a Professionals Only Product Launch!!

1) All Product Launch Options were considered...

  1. Just cut the software loose by making it available to anyone and everyone no matter their prior experience via a link -- and then give away all the education. One size for all. It was estimated that was going to be both beautiful and eerily ugly simultaneously with no known outcome.
  2. Limit initial access to small business consumers who might want to get away from their Bookkeeping and Quickbooks Captors. An appropriate thought indeed, but without proper support for these newbies, it would be only half baked at best -- and frankly, most wont flee even with an open door...
  3. Limit initial access to Technologists. An equally interesting way to shake some major trees -- but Unix has yet to rise with 20+ years of tech only effort...
  4. Limit initial access to Professionals with accounting and bookkeeping background already in the field one way or another -- by why would they ever steer the buying public away from their own cash cows?
  5. Limit initial access to Educational Pros in Accounting and Technology -- who's gonna over-rule their current curriculum controllers?
  6. Alas, no easy way out...

2) A Professional's Only launch with options to become VARs, Distributors, 'Real' Educators, Tutors and Guides is the way forward...

We need talented and interested professionals in the Accounting, Financial Services, Education and Technology fields with sound accounting background, basic Google Sheets/Drive understanding, and unique positions or perspectives who are willing to invest a little money and a little time to become the support base that will be needed for a far broader infusion in coming months and years.

3) To be very clear from the get go. The end goal is suggestion based licensing and open access to this software for all who wish to use it for their own small businesses and personal education needs, but all in good time...

  1. The Software itself will eventually be free to the Public via simple download links some day. No ifs, ands, or butts. Suggestion based licensing fees will apply. If paid education from others is not adequately provided by those in a position to do that, free or low cost education may be provided directly from the developers as an alternative.
  2. We expect low cost, one time and/or ongoing licensing for Finance, Technology and/or Education Professionals who use this as part of their services
  3. We expect low cost one time and/or ongoing licensing for Educational Institutions
  4. We expect low cost one time and/or ongoing licensing for Mid-size to large Businesses

4) The reason for this Professionals Only roll-out is simple. Righteous Reputation Protection.

It has become apparent that to properly protect it's reputation from long standing media trolls who simply won't quit, even in the throws of defeat, a very large and professional user base will be required to protect the reputation of a new breed of software.

The Professional Support base will be built semi-publicly, and the information will then flow out as individuals in the user base deem fit.
